Privacy policy
Wavetable, Inc. ("we", "us") runs wavetable.net. This page says what the site collects, why, where it goes and how long we keep it. The things you play run on Rondo, our platform, which has its own privacy policy.
What we collect
What you type into a form: your name, work email, company and message. The careers form also asks where you are based, what you do and links to your work. The newsletter form asks only for your email.
Which page the form was on, and the campaign link that brought you to the site, if there was one.
Your IP address, for a few minutes, so one address cannot flood the forms.
Visit counts, through an analytics tool loaded by Google Tag Manager.
We do not collect sensitive personal information, we do not sell your data, and we do not track you across other websites.
Why we use it
To reply to you, to send Groove Theory if you signed up for it, and to understand which pages help people. Nothing else.
Where it goes
A form message goes to our lead list in Notion and to a notification in our team's Slack. Newsletter sign-ups go to Ghost, which sends Groove Theory. Booking a call happens in Calendly. The site is hosted on Vercel.
Each of these services holds data under its own privacy policy, and we use them only for the jobs listed here.
How long we keep it
A form message: while we are talking with you, and then for up to two years after we last heard from you, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
A newsletter sign-up: until you unsubscribe. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
The IP address used to limit form spam: minutes, then it is gone.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, take a copy, limit how we use it or object to our using it. If you are in the UK or the EEA, these are your GDPR rights, and you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Email hi@wavetable.net. We reply within 30 days.
Playing on Rondo
The playables on this site open in Rondo. Rondo's privacy policy covers what happens there, including where session data is stored and when it is deleted. If you play as part of your employer's program, your employer controls that data and we process it for them.
Children
This site is not meant for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
