Why we started

In 2016 Howard walked into a classroom

expecting to lecture high schoolers.

Instead he had them design 

an entire music festival - from lineup
to food trucks.

It was chaotic... but it worked. 

It made him wonder:

Why couldn't all learning
feel like this?

That question became Wavetable:
a studio that builds playable, story-driven business practice - the kind of thing people choose to do, not just sit through.
