Team practice, ready to run

The Room

You've been building toward this review for weeks, and the work is good. Then the person who's said nothing all meeting asks the question you didn't prep for, and you can feel the room deciding.

THE PRACTICE

What your team practices

Your team gets to stand in that room before it counts. The person who isn't sold. The senior voice pushing back who can't be argued with head-on. The point where you stop giving a progress update and start making the case at the level the decision gets made. They get the reps in somewhere it's safe to get it wrong.

More of these rooms go their way, because by the time it's real, it isn't the first time they've been in it.

THE REPS

What they leave able to do

Reading a room · Handling the person who isn't sold · Making the case in one go · Talking at the level a decision gets made, not the level of an update · Turning a review into a reason to stay

How it runs

First, we build the room. A real situation from your world - the pitch or the steering review that's coming up - with the messy bits left in.

Then your team plays it out. Live, together, with someone across the table who doesn't just roll over. It goes how it goes.

After, we pull it apart. What worked, what you'd do differently, the moment it turned. This is the part that stays with people.

The debrief

The part nobody else names.

Afterwards we go back over it together. Where the room turned, what the quiet one actually wanted, the line that would have worked better than the one they used. Honestly, most of what people take away comes out of this part, not the pitch itself.

Common questions

How long is it?

A single session runs about half a day. As a Program it's a few weeks, live and async mixed - we shape it round your team.

How many people?

Works best with a real team - roughly 8 to 20. Get in touch if yours is bigger.

Do we need to prep?

No. We build the situation from a short conversation with you. Your team just turns up ready to have a go.

Is it role-play?

Sort of, but not the cringey kind. Real situation, real stakes, and a proper debrief after - closer to a flight simulator than a training day.

Who's it not for?

If you want a lecture or a deck to file away, this isn't it. It's for teams who'll stand up and do the hard version.
